Do you think my mother fucked me up by raising me to believe in an ideal of love approaching a cross of this and this? I don't, but it sure as fuck didn't equip me for the callous brutality of others.

• My cousin's house was severely damaged in an electrical fire on Friday. He and his family are staying with another branch of my insane little clan. Also they need to hide their husky from the insurance company somehow.

Sometimes I lie awake at night, desperately wishing, for reasons that I can't begin to comprehend, out of nowhere, from the bottom of my heart, that I had a little sister.

She'd be about three years younger than me. Her name would be Madeleine (which would have been my name had I not come out the wrong sex).

This is one of those nights.

To-day I found out that my mother is a Roslin/Adama shipper. A batshit Roslin/Adama shipper, actually. I don't see any problem with this, since it's fairly obvious that Bill loev Laura, especially after Friday.

Also, I've just noticed that Roslin actually has very nice legs. DAMN IT, NATHAN, STOP THINKING ABOUT THESE THINGS!
